MLP Fair Prep, Part 5

We're less than two weeks away from the Fair now and I've got to get my arse in gear!  I've been cleaning, customizing and building like mad the last week.

There are a fair number of "for sale" Ponies left to be cleaned...
But quite a few are all ready for their trip now...
Some McD Ponies will be coming along for sale...
As well as a very few harder to find Ponies...
And of course Roomy and I have started working on the display for the Parade of Booths contest.  Once again it's going to involve some pretty mad building skills on Roomy's part.

And here's a sneak peek at part of the building project.
I still have to price everything, not to mention getting my customs for sale ready to go.  And then we've got to figure out how we're going to get everything packed and into the car.  It's going to be a whirlwind couple of weeks.

New custom: Chibi Bright Eyes

Based on the Hasbro G1 Twinkle Eye pony, this is Ponyville Bright Eyes.  Her body colour is original but everything else has been repainted.  She has also had tiny pink jewels added where the shine in her eyes would normally be.  I thought jewels covering the entire eye, as with the original pony, would have been too much on her giant eyes.  I didn't want her to look like a chameleon.

Chibi Bright Eyes is for sale for $15 and if not sold before then, she is heading to the Fair (in less than three weeks!)

Hope you like her.

New custom: Chibi Nightglider

This is the 6th Twice-As-Fancy Ponyville custom I've done.  The TAF sets were always some of my favourites in the G1 line.

Nightglider is based on the Hasbro G1 pony of the same name.  Her body colour is original, but her hair, eyes, and symbols have all been repainted.  The symbols were recreated as accurately as possible from the original.

Nightglider is for sale for $15 US and if not sold before then she'll be coming to the MLP Fair with me in July.

Elfpony's Customizing Tips and Tricks

I had a little manga-style booklet tht I handed out at the customizing panel at AN last weekend.  I also promised to post it on my blog for anyone who wasn't able to pick up a hard copy.  You can find the PDF here.

Also, some of the AN panels are starting to appear on YouTube.  The FIM panel that I took part in on Sunday is up, check it out.

Enjoy!
