Peppermint Party

Here's a last Holiday Hurrah for this year.  Peppermint Party isn't ready for the holidays to end.
Peppermint Party started as a G3 Fluttershy.  She was rehaired in Dollyhair Black Magick and Poison Ivy.  Her eyes and symbols were hand painted, and her cheeks and nose have been blushed.

Her skirt and collar were made of Fimo, but the ribbon tying her skirt is actual ribbon.

Holiday Display 2012 - Part 4

This year I've decided to do something a little different with the Holiday Display.  Each Generation is getting it's own time in the spotlight so for four weeks the Ponies will share their take on a Holiday musical classic...

Finally, it's time for the magic of a child's Holiday, with the G1 Ponies of course.

Santa Clause is Coming to Town

I just came back from a lovely trip along the Milky Way
Stopped off at the North Pole to spend a holiday
I called on dear old Santa Claus to see what I could see
He took me to his workshop and told his plans to me, so
You better watch out, you better not cry
Better not pout, I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is comin' to town
He's making a list and checking it twice
Gonna find out who's naughty and nice
Santa Claus is comin' to town
He sees you when you're sleepin'
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake
Oh! You better watch out, you better not cry
Better not pout, I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is comin' to town
With little tin horns and little toy drums
Rooty toot toots and rummy tum tums
Santa Claus is comin' to town
And curly head dolls that toddle and coo
Elephants, boats, and kiddie cars too
Santa Claus is comin' to town
Then kids in Girl and Boy land will have a jubilee
They're gonna build a Toyland all around the Christmas tree
So! You better watch out, you better not cry
Better not pout I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is comin' to town
Now Santa is a busy man, He has no time to play
He's got millions of stockings to fill on Christmas day
You'd better write your letter now
And mail it right away
Because he's getting ready
His reindeers and his sleigh!
Happy Holidays!

Holiday Display 2012 - Part 3

This year I've decided to do something a little different with the Holiday Display.  Each Generation is getting it's own time in the spotlight so for four weeks the Ponies will share their take on a Holiday musical classic...

Poor G2 Clever Clover.  He just wants to spend Christmas Eve with his best girl, but things just aren't going quite according to plan.

Jingle Bells

Dashing through the snow, in a one-horse open sleigh
O'er the fields we go, laughing all the way
Bells on bobtail ring, making spirits bright
What fun it is to ride and sing a sleighing song tonight!
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way.
Oh! what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh.
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way.
Oh! what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh.

A day or two ago, I thought I'd take a ride
And soon, Miss Berry Bright was seated by my side,
The horse was lean and lank, misfortune seemed her lot
She got into a drifted bank, and then we got upsot.
A day or two ago, the story I must tell
I went out on the snow, and on my back I fell;
A gent was riding by in a one-horse open sleigh,
He laughed as there I sprawling lie, but quickly drove away.
Now the ground is white, go it while you're young.
Take the girls tonight and sing this sleighing song;
Just get a bobtailed bay, two forty as her speed
Hitch her to an open sleigh and crack! you'll take the lead.

Holiday Display 2012 - Part 2

This year I've decided to do something a little different with the Holiday Display.  Each Generation is getting it's own time in the spotlight so for four weeks the Ponies will share their take on a Holiday musical classic...

The G3s are gathering to celebrate the season.  Old friends who haven't seen each other in a while, couples under the mistletoe, and little ones excited for the morning are all together.

The Christmas Song

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack Frost nipping at your nose.
Yuletide carols being sung by a choir, And folks dressed up like Eskimos.
Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe, Help to make the season bright.
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow, Will find it hard to sleep tonight.
They know that Santa's on his way, He's loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh.
And every mother's child is going to spy, To see if reindeer really know how to fly.
And so I'm offering this simple phrase, To kids from one to ninety-two.
Although it's been said many times many ways, Merry Christmas to you.
