Here we go a Wassailing

Frosted window panes, candles gleaming inside painted candy canes on the tree.  Santa's on his way, he's filled his sleigh with things, things for you and for me.

Sleigh bells ring, are you listening?  In the lane snow is glistening.  A beautiful sight, we're happy tonight, walking in a winter wonderland.

Just hear those sleigh bells jingling, ring-ting-tingling too.  Oh it's lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you.

There'll be parties for hosting, marshmallows for toasting, and caroling out in the snow.

And every mother's child is gonna spy, to see if reindeer really know how to fly.

Here we are as in olden days, happy golden days of yore.  Faithful friends who are dear to us gather near to us once more.

An old fashioned fire place, give me an old fashioned fire place. My heart remembers smoldering embers, warming your glow.

Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow will find it hard to sleep tonight.

Funny, but comes December, and I remember all the Christmases I've known.

And thought it\s been said many times, many ways, Merry Christmas to you.

Is there anything better than spending the holidays with family and friends?

Well, maybe a sleigh ride!

And then heading inside to warm up with treats!

Enjoying the smells of baking in the kitchen!

Catching up with your friends!

And, of course, seeing their faces when they open that perfect present!

'Tis the Season

In spite of the mess in the Cave, the holiday display post IS coming.  But in the meantime...

This year I completed my G3 Holiday Ponies collection by adding Poinsettia to the shelf.  Yes, there are a few holiday ponies missing, but for my purposes this collection is now complete.

I also added two HQG1C Xmas babies to my shelves this year.  I'm generally a sucker for any holiday-themed ponies, so I picked these two up this summer.

Of course, the geek-themed holiday celebrations aren't confined to the Cave.  We have an entire tree dedicated to geeky ornaments (with about 1000 Pinkie Pies).  The poor tree's going to give out under the weight of all that wonderful geekiness soon.
