Meet Chicago Munchy, my entry for the Hasbro Inspired custom contest at this year's Fair.
Munchy started out as a Pinkie Pie, fully repainted and rehaired in Dusty Rose nylon hair.
Her symbols are similar to original Munchy's, but with a Chicago twist. Her symbols are deep dish pizza, Chicago-style hot dogs (complete with pickle), and Chicago-style popcorn.

Moonrise - Fair contest entry
Here is Moonrise, my contest entry for the Original Custom contest for this year's Fair.
Moonrise was fully painted by hand (no airbrush). Her hair was also custom gradient dyed.
Although she didn't win anything, I'm entirely pleased with her.

2015 Fair Review
The Fair is over for another year, and once again the Fair staff has outdone themselves! I think each year gets better than the last.
The Fair began with the Hall of Fame Dinner, excellent, as always, and made even more special by the attendance of royalty.
I did a good deal of shopping this year, adding to both my Snuzzle/Peachy army and Twilight Sparkle army, as well as several other treasures. I came in 2nd in MLP Trivia (again!) And I very much enjoyed seeing the display of MLP history, lovely watercolour artwork, and contest entries.
Of course, the best part of the Fair is seeing all the friends we only get to see once a year, and making new ones as well! I know we're all looking forward to next year already, but I hope the Fair staff takes a good long rest before the planning begins.

Roomy and I arrived a day early in Chicago this year and took advantage of the time to do some sightseeing downtown with some non-collector friends. We visited the Bean, and also the University of Chicago Oriental Museum (three of us have backgrounds in archaeology) before Roomy and I broke off to attend the Fair.

Our booth, before all the decorations began falling off |
Saturday we set up the booth and it was rock and roll from there on out. With over 2,000 people in attendance, Roomy was kept busy at the booth and I heartlessly abandoned her to go pony shopping. Saturday night was the pajama party movie night, complete with popcorn and plushies. Sunday was much of the same, but also with volunteering in the games room.

Thank you to all the Fair staff and volunteers for making our weekend amazing! Additional pictures can be seen here.
