I had so much fun with the Collector Pony Merry Go Round set of
customs that I decided to do another set. This time, my base ponies
were my favourite G1 set: the Year 2 Unicorns and Pegasi.
Let's finish with Sunbeam and Twilight. Both were McDonald's Happy Meal
G3 ponies when they started out. The sculpting on their hair and
blankets was all done in Apoxie Sculpt. They were fully repainted and
sealed, and jewels were added to give them some sparkle. Because the
original ponies already had sparkle in their glitter symbols, portions
of these have shimmery metallic paint for added sparkle.
And here's the whole set together.

MGR Firefly and Medley
I had so much fun with the Collector Pony Merry Go Round set of
customs that I decided to do another set. This time, my base ponies
were my favourite G1 set: the Year 2 Unicorns and Pegasi.
Let's continue with Firefly and Medley. Both were McDonald's Happy Meal G3 ponies when they started out. The sculpting on their hair and blankets was all done in Apoxie Sculpt. They were fully repainted and sealed, and jewels were added to give them some sparkle. Because the original ponies already had sparkle in their glitter symbols, portions of these have shimmery metallic paint for added sparkle.
